Our fully employed team of bid consultants have a breadth of sector experience, coupled with strong management and writing skills, to support our clients through their bid process. This approach enables us to provide a consistent service for our clients, with all of our bid consultants well versed in the ‘EiB Way’.
To continually improve and invest in our team, we have exceeded our commitment to The 5% Club, with 10% of our workforce, working in earn-and-learn skills training opportunities. This helps us to attract and nurture the next generation of bid management and writing talent. We also invest in our staff through industry body accreditations, supporting Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Foundation and Practitioner certification, alongside our Chartered Management Consultant Award accredited training programme.

Scott is one of EiB’s founding directors, with over 35 years’ experience of supporting clients across the UK and Europe with their business growth. As a strategic bid consultant, he works with clients to develop solutions that lead to demonstrable improvements in performance and delivery of tangible benefits. Scott is skilled in helping organisations forge collaborative relationships, partnerships and alliances within the public and private sectors. Scott has led significant major projects, such as the National Highways Area 9, 10 and 12 contracts, alongside bidding into central government departments and local authorities.

In Caitlin’s role as Deputy CEO, she applies learning from her Chartered Management Institute Level 5 Diploma in management and leadership to build strong relationships and implement our strategy to develop talented, motivated staff. She became a Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) in 2026. As a Strategic Bid Consultant, she has experience spanning a breadth of sectors, including highways, rail, health, utilities and competitive dialogue for technical local authority contracts. Projects she has worked on include the £240 million Severn Bridges inspection and maintenance contract, Buckinghamshire Council’s highways term maintenance contract and National Highways’ scheme delivery framework.

Chris joined EiB in 1994, bringing experience in the public sector, to help clients procure large complex infrastructure projects, supporting the supply chain in bidding and securing contracts. His strategic approach ensures our clients develop winning solutions, aligning with the commissioning client’s needs, with innovative and value-adding delivery models. He has experience of the client-side environment and the range of procurement routes that has ensured consistently high tender success rates, particularly in collaboration-based procurement.

Keith has a proven track record of achieving high quality scores across his written bid responses, alongside acting as a reviewer and ‘critical friend’ for our clients. Since his career shift to proposal writing in 2016, Keith has developed key writing, editing and reviewing skills alongside in-depth sector knowledge so that he is adaptable to meet all client and bid needs. His project experience includes HS2 Birmingham Interchange station, Surrey County Council’s highways term maintenance contract and Network Rail’s CP6/7 contracts. Keith’s skills have been recognised within the bid writing industry, as the winner of the APMP Writing Excellence Award in 2024.

Courtney is a positive and client-focused strategic bid consultant, with experience in bid managing the end-to-end bid process. Courtney holds a practitioner qualification in Facet5 and uses this knowledge of different personalities to establish effective and balanced teams. She leads teams to produce compelling content, working to tight deadlines and supporting the client while developing their solution. In 2020, Courtney was awarded the APMP Best Newcomer Award, recognising her achievements for her first 12 months in bidding. Projects she has worked on include Docklands Light Railway, National Highways’ Areas 9 and 12 contracts and the Coire Glas hydro pumped storage scheme.

She became a Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) in 2025. Lauren brings a strong approach to translating complex, technical solutions into concise, compelling responses. Her experience enables her to effectively manage cross-functional bid teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of high-quality bids. She uses her passion for clear communication and collaboration to drive continuous improvement in the services we offer. In 2024, Lauren was a finalist in the APMP Awards in the Writing Excellence category.

John has over 20 years’ experience in bid management and construction management across the utility, civil engineering, renewables and highways sectors. His engineering background and contractual knowledge has enabled him to fully understand the intricacies required to deliver complex frameworks/projects and incorporate this information into compelling bids. As a strategic bid consultant, he supports EiB’s Ireland operations from the company’s base in Dublin, bringing in-depth experience of the Irish procurement market to support clients with their strategic approach.

Joe has regularly assisted consultancy clients to bid for independent reviews, project management roles and frameworks commissioned by regulators and government departments. In his role as deputy professional head of graduate development, he leads on helping our junior members of the team flourish into bid consultants, with a structured two-year development programme.

Antony has over 30 years’ experience across a range of sectors within the construction industry, including rail, highways, nuclear, aviation, commercial, industrial, defence, building services and facilities management. Having worked in procurement for 25 years prior to bid writing, he uses his detailed understanding of the tendering process to help our clients compose bid documents that both showcase their offer and score highly against evaluation criteria. Antony is comfortable working with clients at all levels, from engineers and SMEs through to senior directors, engaging with confidence to optimise collaboration through the bid process.

Previous experience in financial services and transportation provides Stacey with diverse expertise as a writer, strategist, stakeholder and communications professional. As operations director, Gordon is focused on building our business in Scotland using his local knowledge, while developing our portfolio of work in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Gordon’s success spans projects such as Transport Scotland’s trunk road network, Edinburgh Trams, Clyde Metro, Irish Water PMO Framework and the £1.6 billion Pagabo Civils and Infrastructure Framework. In 2024, Gordon was a finalist in the APMP Awards for Outstanding Leadership and the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Award for Director of the Year.
