EiB is expanding its UK presence by kickstarting growth in Northern Ireland and opening a new modern office base in Belfast.

EiB has operated in the UK for 30 years, providing bid writing and management services to clients in the highways, rail, health, utilities and renewables sectors.

Previous projects in Ireland include the Irish Water (Uisce Éireann) Engineering Design Services framework, Gas Networks Ireland’s Multiparty Framework and early phases of the Dublin Airport Programme Controls.

With a team of fully employed strategic work winning professionals, EiB won 17 major bids in 2022, which secured £3.16 billion for its clients. Having identified a pipeline of significant infrastructure projects, the Belfast base and presence in Northern Ireland provide an opportunity to work directly within the market to understand the government’s aims and how this will shape future procurement.

EiB’s presence in Northern Ireland follows the launch of EiB Scotland in 2022, opening a new office base in Edinburgh with a dedicated work winning team to collaborate with its Scottish clients. In just six months, EiB’s work winning team tripled in Scotland, with a robust pipeline of work, tendering for opportunities in road, rail, energy, health and utilities.

Operations Director for Scotland Gordon Wilson commented, “We’re delighted to be opening an office in Belfast, following our work in Scotland. Having a team on both sides of the Irish Sea enables us to expertly navigate the nuances of the devolved governments and regulations, and this local knowledge of local matters ensures we offer the best possible support to our clients.”
