Tali and Jemma both joined EiB on our graduate programme, and through in-depth on-the-job training, they have flourished in their roles to further develop their careers
Within one year, they both passed the APMP Foundation, gaining an industry-recognised qualification, and have supported clients to win bids across the highways, rail, energy and utilities sectors. Our commitment to developing our people with a clear, defined roadmap for career progression has led to an over 90% retention rate in our graduate programme.
Tali Denham
Tali has built strong relationships and has demonstrated her exceptional breadth of sector and solution knowledge with our key Tier 1 clients. She’s now imparting this wisdom as deputy professional head of bid writing, which is having tangible benefits to our team.
Tali has been a key member of the team with one of our Tier 1 clients in the highways sector, supporting its team to develop high quality highways term maintenance tenders.
Alongside her role as a senior bid consultant, Tali supports the EiB management team as deputy professional head of bid writing. She leads personal development reviews, working with her team of bid consultants to develop personal development plans with SMART targets. This supports our vision of continually investing in our people to develop multi-skilled individuals who drive success for our clients. She plays a crucial role in mentoring and guiding her team to identify their desired career paths and identifies opportunities for upskilling to reach their goals, such as shadowing.

Jemma is a key member of our team based in Scotland and has contributed to the team’s 100% win rate in quarter 1 of 2025. Jemma has developed an in-depth understanding of procurement in Ireland across various sectors, worked on large infrastructure projects such as the A13 Lodge Avenue Flyover and supported one of our Tier 2 clients through the end-to-end bid process to maintain a 100% win rate.
Jemma has been instrumental in the growth of EiB Scotland and has integrated into client teams seamlessly as a solo bid consultant. Her ability to constructively challenge has transformed the success of her clients. I’m looking forward to working with them to continue supporting their personal development in their new roles.
She has been appointed to lead the marketing for our Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland team and will use her knowledge of the Scottish and Irish procurement markets to contribute to EiB’s growth in these areas alongside our Operations Director Gordon Wilson. This has been supported with training courses such as that from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, which she will start later this year, which demonstrates how we invest in our people.
