Our dedicated work winning team in Scotland
Since 2022, EiB has had a dedicated office in Edinburgh. Last November, we appointed Jemma Ward as our Professional Head of Scotland. Jemma manages the Scotland team of bid consultants, Scotland marketing and partnerships, and overall Scotland operations. With a dedicated local team, our experience in Scotland has proven beneficial for our clients, as we provide local consultants with a deep understanding of the political and cultural context of Scotland’s unique market. The team have the ability to co-locate with our clients as required.
Our presence in Scotland builds upon our work with a diverse range of clients. In the past five years, we have provided clients with bid support for Scotland Railway frameworks, the Clyde Metro, Ossian Offshore Wind Farm and Coire Glas.
In the past year, we have supported five clients in Scotland, with a 100% win rate.
Expanding our remit in Ireland
In 2025, we officially launched EiB Ireland. This follows over a decade of supporting clients in Ireland on iconic infrastructure contracts including the maintenance of Dublin Tunnel and Jack Lynch Tunnel and Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) Connect framework.
In the past year, we have supported clients with 16 projects in Ireland. This includes ‘Fit to Bid’, our diagnostic assessment tool to evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of our clients’ bidding processes against industry recognised best practice.
John Ennis leads our operations in Ireland. He has over 20 years’ experience in bid management and construction management across the utility, civil engineering, renewables and highways sectors. His engineering background and contractual knowledge has enabled him to fully understand the intricacies required to deliver complex frameworks/projects and incorporate this information into compelling bids.
Continuing our expansion
We are continuing to grow our presence across both Scotland and Ireland, responding to strong and evolving procurement demand in each market. Our dedicated Scotland team, supported by our central Edinburgh office and a team with understanding of the devolved government landscape, provides locally based bid management and writing expertise to help clients secure work across infrastructure, energy, transport and more.
Likewise, EiB Ireland is expanding to meet the country’s significant investment in sustainable and modern infrastructure, offering strategic bid management and writing services informed by extensive experience across rail, highways, energy, water, aviation and other key sectors.
