Our client won one of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) contracts to support infrastructure upgrades for military bases used by the United States Visiting Forces (USVF)
The opportunity
The DIO required a collborative delivery partner to drive their strategic objectives for the delivery partner technical support contracts. The contract will run for five years initially, with our client responsible for project management and technical services.
EiB approach and involvement
We provided bid management, writing and strategic review/challenge throughout 2020, working with our client to quickly adopt tools to continue working during the pandemic. The team utilised Microsoft Teams to facilitate strong communication throughout the bid, collaboratively developing the bid responses through SharePoint and remote meetings to assist our client prepare for engagement and behavioural assessment with the DIO. We also overcame the challenges of working remotely and utilised collaborative platforms to provide our client with coaching, ahead of workshops with the DIO.
Success and outcomes
Our client secured the contract and will be involved with USVF for the next five years as it continues to increase its investment in the UK estate.
