Bio:

Richard is a founding director of EiB with over 35 years’ experience as a consultant, advisor, facilitator and ‘critical friend’. With excellent interpersonal skills, Richard brings knowledge, experience, challenge and enthusiasm to all his projects, resulting in long-term client relationships. He supports UK and European clients tendering for contracts, with particular expertise in collaborative-based and competitive dialogue procurement routes. Richard’s in-depth understanding of procurement, combined with his knowledge of commissioning bodies including local authorities, National Highways, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Transport Scotland, Network Rail and the NHS adds significant value to his clients when tending for multi-million pound contracts.

Experience and successes

During his career, Richard has worked with over 40 local authorities to improve their ability to deliver efficient, customer-focused services aligned with with central government directives. In the last 16 years, he has advised and supported a large and diverse client portfolio to successfully tender for contracts totalling more than £10bn, including many high profile projects for local authorities, National Highways, Utility companies, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Transport for Wales, Network Rail and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
